Orion Energy II is a renewable energy development company focused on bringing the benefits of solar and Hydrogen technologies to Europe and Africa. In Africa, Orion Energy II is bringing reliable and affordable energy to communities that currently lack access to electricity. We are currently in Ghana, West Africa, working with local partners to develop decentralized 130MW solar and Hydrogen systems that power industrial facilities 60km East of Accra. We currently use 650Wp Mono-crystalline silicon Bi-facial PV Modules on Single-axis N-S tracker for BIFACIAL modules. Hydrogen production through water electrolysis involves splitting water molecules into Hydrogen and oxygen using an electric current. Depending on what gas turbines you as a client use, 30Kg to 60Kg of Hydrogen is needed to produce 1 MW of green energy from solar to hydrogen conversion.
